CranioSacral Therapy & SER

Not all healing paths are created equal and neither are all trainings. That’s why I’ve chosen to learn directly from the source.

As a proud member of the teaching assistant team at The Upledger Institute, I’ve trained in the methods developed by Dr. John Upledger, the visionary who pioneered CranioSacral Therapy. This work is more than a modality, it’s a calling, and it’s been an honour to learn it at the highest level.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle,

hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing

the functioning of a physiological body system

called the craniosacral system comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body.

A CranioSacral Therapy session is like hitting the "Restore Factory Settings button on our body."

Somato-Emotional Release

SER facilitates a gentle process for releasing tissue memory, thereby helping the person to decrease the adverse effects of past traumas. There is vast research to show that a change in physical health is accompanied by a change in mental health, and it is equally documented that the reverse is apparent.

SER is a holistic mind-body somatic approach that may also assist a person in gaining insight as to how that held trauma is influencing their physical and emotional health. SER can support the person transition from dysfunction and unresolved issues towards wellness and optimal function.

How Many Sessions will I need?

CranioSacral Therapy is gentle but mighty.

While you might float out of your first session feeling lighter, true, lasting shifts usually happen with a little more time and space.

We recommend pre-booking at least 3 sessions to start.

Why? Because your nervous system deserves more than a one-night stand and because we’re often booked 2 months in advance.

For Short-Term Stress or Minor Discomfort (1–3 sessions):

If you’re dealing with something recent or mild like tension headaches, jaw tension, or stress just a few sessions may bring the relief you are seeking.

For Deeper or Long-Term Patterns (6–10+ sessions):

If you’re working with chronic pain, past trauma, nervous system overwhelm, or emotional release, a longer-term approach allows for deeper healing.

Let’s give your nervous system the time it needs to unwind, integrate, and heal layer by layer.

Your healing is a collaboration.

I’ll hold space, you hold power.

The most profound healing isn’t just in what we discover during your session but in how you apply it to your reality in between sessions.
Radical self responsibility =radical results

Maintenance or ongoing wellness:

Many clients return for Monthly or Seasonal regular tune-ups to stay grounded, balanced and healthy especially during life transitions or high-stress seasons.
